INSPECTOR SYSTEMS makes nozzle maintenance in steam generators possible. Technical installations that are subject to special safety criteria must always be kept at the best possible level of safety. This applies particularly to nuclear power stations with their innumerable pipelines systems required for operation and safety.

The development of a special grinding robot was one of the design challenges that INSPECTOR SYSTEMS had to meet in 2008. In Olkiluoto, an island off the west coast of Finland, block 3 of a newly developed European Pressurised Reactor (EPR) has been under construction since 2005.

INSPECTOR SYSTEMS is celebrating its birthday. For 25 years the Rödermark engineering company has been developing and building pipe robots for inspecting and testing pipeline systems.

Last summer, close to the town of Nordenham, the routine overhaul of the Unterweser nuclear power station took place. Together with the owner E.ON Kernkraft and with TÜV Nord an eddy current test robot for cooling water pipelines developed for this special application was successfully qualified and tested in a VE-pipeline.

INSPECTOR SYSTEMS is developing a robot platform for inspecting aircraft wings. The contract with the research institute Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche in Bari, Italy, means working in an entirely different field.
